SEEKING A GENDER THERAPIST?

Queer Talk Therapy is the place to explore your gender identity in a setting that is designed especially for gender identity counseling.

QUEER TALK THERAPY

YOU DON'T NEED TO TRANSLATE YOURSELF HERE

Therapy that removes heteronormative scripts so trans, nonbinary, and gender‑expansive people, and anyone exploring can work from their core values.

GENDER IDENTITY THERAPY

Gender identity therapy supports adults who are exploring, clarifying, or consolidating their gender identity. Some clients arrive with long-standing questions. Others know who they are and need help navigating family, work, or relationships.

This work is grounded gender identity counseling with a licensed gender identity therapist. We focus on clarity, decision-making, and emotional steadiness without rushing labels or minimizing uncertainty. The goal is usable insight, not endless processing.

NON-BINARY THERAPY

Non-binary therapy is for clients whose gender exists outside the binary. Whether you identify as non-binary, genderqueer, gender-fluid, or are still finding language, this is a space where your experience is taken seriously and treated with respect.

This work is grounded in deep clinical experience with non-binary and gender-diverse clients. Sessions address dysphoria, social stress, and the practical realities of living outside rigid gender norms, including relationships, communication, self-definition, and confidence in daily life. Therapy here supports you in articulating who you are and moving through the world with greater clarity and ease.

TRANSGENDER THERAPY

Transgender therapy at Queer Talk is grounded in the real, lived impact of transition in the U.S. Transition changes how you are read, treated, desired, and granted power. Trans men often experience increased authority and safety alongside new pressure to perform masculinity. Trans women often navigate the loss of male privilege, greater scrutiny, and increased vulnerability in public and professional spaces. Many clients notice shifts in sex drive, sexual interests, or sexual orientation as hormones, embodiment, and self-permission evolve. Dating rules change. Relationship dynamics shift. The social handbook gets rewritten mid-life.

This work supports people who are questioning, preparing, actively transitioning, or adapting to changes already underway. We focus on gender dysphoria, emotional health, body adjustment, and the renegotiation of relationships and identity under new social rules. Therapy here is practical and direct, designed to help you integrate change with clarity, ownership, and confidence rather than confusion.

SURGERY DOCUMENTATION & TRANSITION SUPPORT

For clients who need formal documentation, Gender Dysphoria Assessments and WPATH-aligned surgery letters are available here as an additional service. If you are already working with me, you do not need to start over or search for a different “qualified” clinician. The assessment is handled with the same care, accuracy, and respect as therapy, so you can move forward without unnecessary delays or added stress.

“Troy, you’re the first person in mental health who actually listened and helped. After years of dismissal, I finally feel my body is my own.”
